The offhand won’t actually be doing much of anything with that build, its just a stat stick. This style has more attacks per second, but each individual hit does less damage compared to a two-handed weapon.
The reason he has 2 weapons is the 6 ists in offhand are the largest amount of magic find you can get for a single slot. Dual wielding alternates attacks between your two weapons, and grants a 15 attack speed bonus to each. That is a pretty specific set up for farming an area, I am not sure it would work very well outside of the pits. You would want a shield in that case because it is one of the few ways to overcome the fact that berserk reduces your defense to 0. Say you are using concentrate or berserk while dual wielding (for whatever reason) In this case if you put the chance to cast weapon on your offhand, it will never trigger the lightning because you are not hitting the target with that weapon.įor enhanced damage, it only applies to the weapon it is on, it will not help the other weapon at all. For stuff like procs, say “10% chance to cast level 5 lightning on hit” this will only trigger for the weapon it is on.
